Rude, unreliable, unsafe-DO NOT GO THERE!! (should be a zero star rating!)
Yes they may have low prices and complimentary brake checks but do not go there if you want honest work put into your car. I went in to get my brakes done, and seeing as they were not done correctly in the first place, that brought me back to them which is only the beginning of what happened next. By taking my tires off again they ended up stripping the studs and lugs and ruined my hub. They called up saying that I needed to purchase a new hub ($240) because the studs were stripped. At first I said "why would I have to buy that because the hub was fine when I brought my car in there, and I brought it in for the brakes and now I am having to pay for a new hub?" (Note my tires weren't stock and where I got them from used the wrong size studs, however the fact that Midas wasn't going to tell me what they did and send me off with an unsafe car is my point!) Well we went down there to see their progress since it was taking them too long and I needed my car back! They not only damaged the one hub, but my husband made him take off all of my tires and sure enough, all my hubs were damaged! Their method of trying to fix it was tack weld the studs to the hubs! Anyone who knows about cars knows that is totally unsafe to drive that way! They were trying to cover the whole thing up. THey called the general manager in front of my husband and said "the girl with the jetta's husband is here and um he know's a little bit about mechanics." Of course they had no choice but to replace everything that they had ruined but we had to go through hell to make that happen.
